Come and Go......Then Come Back Again!

This spiritual quest you are on.........
it causes your Soul to stir.
You will come and it will awaken........
ahhh peace you will feel.
For awhile maybe longer.
That peace gives way to something else........
Not just the Soul is stirred!
A false sense of self, does not like this quest you are on.
A dark feeling arises and sets its sights of mind and body.
Some will attack others and this attacks self.
Some will come and then go,
after a battle within ........
they return again, a little stronger than before.
The next piece of the mystery they will then seek,
do remember .....we are in this together,
no man is an island.
Always remain willing to give aid to another,
in despair ......let yourself not sink to low or to long!
In searching remember .......come back and share what you learn.
For no-one makes it into heaven but leaning on the shoulder of one he once helped!

I do feel a battle inside me, reminds me of that old Indian saying.

A Cherokee Legend

An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. "A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy.

"It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego." He continued, "The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

I heard that Cherokee Wisdom teaching before.....

But a word of caution from an error I made before......

We have all have a Shadow side and I once thought it "evil" too,

I was wrong!

It is more like an untamed Lion.......

Untamed it can do great harm,

Tamed it can do great good........

Tame IT!

The pictures of men standing upon snakes and/or dragons, represent this tamed energy. The beast is not dead! The wiseman/woman stand on top of them, they have tamed this energy within and thus control it.

Ever try to put out a fire by turning from it and ignoring it?
