Re: Beautydylan's Dumping Ground
I do like your
signature BD
It brings alot of nutshell words to mind
like EXPERIENCE, the HUMAN BOND,.etc...
Colors can be Healing
Various at various times.
Can you explain this punch line?
sorry, I need clarification if you can, please.
and well this question is kind of
weird sort of.... sort of becuase
i was once 21. I'm wondering
why a 21 year old pushed to
DISTURB a 50 year old. What
is in it for a 21 year old to destroy
an elder person's life? The
elder just wanted peace and quite
in order to do their work for the
day. Maybe someone or you BD
have anything maybe intuitive to
say about this question?
If it is out of line please forgive me
you don't have to answer it. Sometimes
it's not the time or place for an answer.
LOVE
LOVE
LOVE
Just thought I'd add
two of our six cats passed
away since January; one
of old age and sickness
and the other out of Bond
and Reluctance (found herself
in a dangerous situation and lost
her life by accident). I also
experienced the loss of trust
in relationships in many forms
throughout my life and I still
survived. You may feel the pain;
I suggest you use it to gauge
your worth and just keep going
forward sometimes that moment
or hour or day at a time finding
what you enjoy with self and others.
Wishing and sending Blessings for a Joyous Life

Why do elephants have big ears?
Because Noddy won't pay the ransom

Big Ears was a friend of Noddy's (in the Noddy books) I probably should have put capitals in there - my bad

I hope by your 21 year old comment I didn't cause offence by the joke

Sadly some people are not so considerate - some people cause pain in others lives just because they can (as I know from my own experience and I'm only 22 - 23 next month! I'll die an old maid probably lol)

Re: Beautydylan's Dumping Ground
Actually,
I understand the joke better now
the Elephants gang.... LOL have
Big Ears (somebody)
because Noddy (somebody else)
won't pay the ransom (the bribe)
they are asking for Big Ears.
As far as the 21 year old question
I needed another opinion. Sometimes
intuition sheds light on the subject.
I feel great! that you answered...LOL

Re: Beautydylan's Dumping Ground
*******************Rant alert please let me know if this is a problem*****************
Please don't judge rescued animals for their colour or behaviour, their colour is out of their control and their behaviour is formed by their experiences. Please don't walk past and pretend you can't see them. Just because they're hiding or watching you nervously doesn't mean they won't make a great pet. Some of the greatest cats I've known have been the ones that hide away.
Just because a cat comes across as being confident doesn't mean he (or she!) will be the right pet for you. I've known some confident cats to be bullies, you can tell this by watching how they behave around the others in the rescue. The one that's staring at the one cowering in her cage? Could be bullying the one in her cage. The one sat quietly at the back of her cage? Could be shy rather than an extrovert. The one choosing a sunny spot to sleep? Could just be wanting a bit of "alone time" and is not being "antisocial".
The one hiding because your children are running around screaming? Could just be wanting a bit of peace and quiet.
Please listen to the rescue workers in the animal rescue place. Don't write off the black cats because they're not an "attractive colour", I have known some truly great black cats. Black cats make just as good a pet as any other colour.
It saddens me to see on the charity I volunteered at's site that so many black cats are being left with them because they're not "attractive enough" for their children.
I'm just tired of people "assuming" one colour of cat is "ugly" or "evil"
*BD sighs*

Re: Beautydylan's Dumping Ground
You are right, we do choose our pets by there colour, I know I did my last dog. Animals are given there colour at birth and should not be penalised for it.

Re: Beautydylan's Dumping Ground
We took flowery in many years ago, my mom found him cold and shivering during the winter months. He is black and white, my sisters daughter named him flowery : ) But he was saved and given a good home, and now is very happy and loving. I agree that color has nothing to do with a personality of a pet or a person. We always chose the runts of the litter. I didn't like seeing the healthy cats pushing away, the weaker one. Didn't matter what color, i felt they needed a family the most.

Re: Beautydylan's Dumping Ground
My Megan was the runt of the litter, or so I guess, passed on from breeder to shop to sell. We bought her from a pet store, and found she was riddled with worms once we got her home.
