Judgement Empty Judgement

Post by mia April 12th 2012, 11:29 am

In your life there will always be those who judge you. There will be those who judge you who don't have a clue who you are, or what you are really about. There will be those who judge you who aren't living to their fullest potential themselves. And there will even be those who judge you that know you best just because they may envy your drive, or the road that you are on towards success and happiness in your life. In the end, most people will judge you, so instead of worrying about what people think, do whatever may make you the happiest in life.

Worrying about another's judgment only gives them a hold over your life that no one should ever have. Remember that many men will judge you, but just as we arent perfect, neither are they. We must continue to reach and strive toward our calling and what is in our hearts to achieve than to worry about what people may think of us.

Judgement Empty Re: Judgement

I love this Mia, i know it doesn't feel good to be judged, i try very hard to eliminate judgements about myself and others. I slip up from time to time and have to catch myself before it gets to the point where, my head will start feeling heavy, this is always the sign that i am not doing or am doing something i should or shouldn't. There are many things we can bring up on this topic, i will share more later.

When we think of Judgement we usually think, judgement towards others, but also we have judgement towards ourselves. Do you think if we stopped judging ourselves maybe, we would stop judging others. Just a thought, this is all new and i am very excited to learn new ways, to understand these negative mind sets and hopefully to overcome them.

I tend to judge myself, often and it has become an automatic thing, it became a habit. Sometimes i look in the mirror and judge how i look, or judge where i am in my spirituality or physical life. Sometimes i hear my mind thinking, in such a negative way that it changes me into someone i am not. Emotions are not who we are, we are not the ego, or our personality. We are wonderful human beings, who look to be the change we want in the world. The Dalai Lama said in a documentary, Buddha became the buddha because he worked hard to understand his own mind and ways of thinking and views of all, he couldn't understand why people suffered the way they did. An open mind to observe what's unhealthy, within us, is like cleaning your house so it feels comfortable. Well the same goes with our bodies, what keeps that heavy feeling inside your head? what stirs up that bitterness or anger within? If you know the cause, you can fix it. Judging our selves or others, can keep us from reaching a peaceful state, and isn't that what we all strive for? To be at peace and free? Then it is your birthright to be at peace and free seize it.

I will have much more to post on this topic, if i went a little off topic forgive me. I just started typing and went with it.

So the topic is Judgement GoodnEvil
