Love is not, Love "IS"

LOVE IS NOT:

He did something for me, now I love him.
I got a present, now I love her.
I got what I wanted, now I am happy.

Love is not wanting or getting.
Love is not demanding, nor expecting.

Love is not sexual desire.
Love is not being cute and sexy.

Too often humans "think" this is Love

Love "IS":
It just IS.

But we stand in its way, when we try to "think" it.
We block it with each thought which says,
..."Why doesn't he/she do what I THINK they should DO?"

With each demand we make Love more distant.
With each expectation we lose the Love we are made of.
With each each lack of acceptance, we lose!
With each lack of giving.....giving "Space to BE",
we lose!

We erected a wall in front of our heart which says,
"Do what I want and I will LOVE you."

Love is waiting on the other side of the wall you erected.
Drop your wall and Love IS.
Hold your wall up with your false beliefs and Love is an illusion.

How will you ever find that which you block?
How will you ever hold that which you deny?

Americans have the hardest time finding Love!
Why?
...
Of all the nations on Earth.....
Americans have throw the most illusions in their own way.

You have hearts of stone.
Hearts of stone break, they have no elasticity!

Remember as the heart surgeon is seen:
You did this to your self.



Do you wish to Re-discover LOVE?

There is a very simple way and you will find it in moment,
if you can do just one simple "no-thing."
Here it is:
...Look at the walls you erected!
They say "but, but He did this to me!!!"
Now feel its pain and do not deny it is you feeling the pain!
Forgive it and Let it go.....
Accept what happened without forming a judgment,
"But, but, he is wrong and I am right!!!"
Acknowledge you DO NOT KNOW; this creates Space in your own Mind.
Without said Space, LOVE cannot enter and bitterness will remain.

That is all the "doing" you ever have to do.
If you are sincere and not a self deceiver, you will KNOW LOVE.

You will KNOW: LOVE IS, IT just IS.
You will Realize: I was only standing in its WAY.

Today,
Right NOW....
Get out of your own WAY!

or

Tomorrow,
prepare to pay.....
The heart surgeon!
He is going to take all else away.

As i read both of these posts Sparrowhawk, i have put up so many walls in my life. I have expectations, or i expect an outcome, and when it does not happen, i begin to hurt inside. With my spouse, i tend to expect her to be less opinionated, and when she has an opinion that is different from what im feeling, i let myself get hurt once again, because i expected her to say something else. This is a weakness of mine, when Love pours out of you, you will know it. Love & Awareness seem like they compliment each other so well, if a person is Aware of what Love is, maybe they will be able to recognize what is not Love. Love really is Patient & Kind.

I did not learn what "Love" is. It merged with my consciousness. I did not get to it by being good, I did not get to it by being bad. IT came to me when I forgave the entire world as pain itself enveloped me, that is when I became aware of "Awareness". Love and Awareness are so closely linked I do not know where one begins and the other ends, perhaps they are the same!

Weakness .......

It feels like weakness at a certain point. It is more like a lesson plan. The feeling of "weakness" drives you to search deeper than you otherwise would. As you go deeper .....Awareness grows! So you see, even in weakness we move ever closer to Love.

Love is patient and kind........

Yes, it is also bold and strong.
You will not find True Love-Awareness through patience and kindness alone. You will have to face the Shadow also instead of allowing it to live the life .........YOUR LIFE! It is the weakness you perceive. You see it in others and then in your "reactivity" you are it yourself, yet you are not really it, it appears this way due to duality.

Your partner has to experience her own lessons as they come to her. You can disagree without saying a thing. Give her "Space" to be and do not fail to give yourself the same "space" to be! Then, if it gets difficult and it will, go into silence and ask to "see this another way."

'The Shadow' is the 'Lead' of Alchemy. No lead.... No Gold, KNOW LEAD ..KNOW GOLD! The secret to transmuting lead into gold is so simple. You simply look at the lead until it transforms itself! When "shadow" appears, know you are not the shadow! Know you are the Awareness which is observing it. It cannot stand to be looked at, it knows this is its end. It will flee and try to conceal itself as you do this. It may appear to leave for months at a time, and then strike in a moment of apparent weakness. This is what is meant by "Keep one eye on the inner monkey, and one eye on the goal at all times."

They will give you a greater degree of knowledge and one should know what one is going up against before facing it. Do not underestimate its hold upon you, rather learn to weaken its hold one bit at a time.

Do we need to be looking for it?

I have learnt a hard lesson recently, you cannot make someone love you, no matter how much you may love that person, if they genuinely do not have any love for you, saying that many also say love and hate are very similar, perhaps deep down that person does not want to openly admit that they do love you, so go into defence mode instead, hurting themselves in the process.
