My Thoughts on Ostara
Ostara is the Pagan celebration of the Christian Easter.
The welcoming of spring, new life, after the darkness of winter.
I am new to Paganism, I haven't read or learnt much about Ostara until today.
The rituals I am not really comfortable with, like decorating an alter, using coloured candles, milk, honey etc.
However I do like the idea of being up early and as the sun rises, inhaling the spring air, looking around me at the spring colours, greens, yellows, see the spring flowers, buds on the trees.
Stand barefoot on the ground and feel the earth and grass between my toes.
Think of my place in this world, my connection to the earth, sun, moon, sea and planets and be grateful to be alive and have this place in the universe.
This I shall do

Awesome Mia, sounds like you are really connecting. Ostar ritual is something i am not familiar with, one thing i learn is following a ritual exactly is wonderful, but it's great when you can Intuitively take parts of it and work them into a new and exciting way that you would benefit from.
Do you have a special place in mind when you connect like this?

Hiya SB
I have a problem with following something I have no feeling for.
Maybe at a later date I shall want to do rituals ... who knows ....
I do like connecting with nature ..... no .... I love connecting with nature, so, the getting up early to watch the sun rise etc, resonates with me
and is enough for me to celebrate Ostara.
I shall do all this in my back garden or copse
I have trees, flowers, grass, don't need anything else.
I can sit and have my breakfast there too ..... maybe an easter egg ...
