About to commence Reiki I

Hi guys,

I am going to do Reiki I on the weekend. I have wanted to do it for about 4 years. I've always been attracted to Reiki and have done lots of reading on it, but kept putting it off because I didnt feel like it was the right time or that I wasn't really ready. I finally decided to just go for it. I'm feeling excited but a bit nervous. Can anybody give me some advice as to what to expect?

Reiki is something I would like to try, but have yet to sign up to any ongoing courses.

I believe energy force works ....
and is exhilirating at times.

When things go wrong I wonder "what the ...."
and try to heal myself to goodness.

So, yeah healing can reach us
but you need folks on your side
to do that.

I think humans are sensitive if open to
feelings. Some drown themselves with
drugs and anything else that takes their
mind off of feelings; sometimes for the
better like keeping in physical shape just
to breath easier and blood circulation.

oh, I believe it's natural and you don't
need the course just the will to do good.
But going through a course you are in
a lineage of teachers.

I take the natural route because I
seek no wordly credit for anything
When I can help another fellow
that's payment enough for my soul
and my purpose on this earth.

If you have the natural ability
it should go well but don't
be shy if you don't feel it's
right for you. I wouldn't
ignore your natural call to healing.
