I am now back in the UK after many years in Oz.
English born but also an Aussie citizen.
Mostly over there cos my hubby was in the Australian army. I lost him 7 years ago to cancer and still miss his cheeky ways.

Hi Aussiepom, I'm new here also.

I'm a widow also. Since 1999. Sorry for your loss.
I've been to the UK a couple of times as a child.
Hopefully I'll get back there before my days are over.
I was age 7 and 17 when I went with my parents.
Dad was from Belfast and grew up there. He came over here during the depression and almost died of starvation on the streets.

But he looks good now. I've lost my parents many years ago when I was young. Birth parents and adopted. I was only 26 when my mother passed on St. Patrick's day in 1980. Dad had a massive stroke 2 years later but lived another 9 years. Stubborn but lived. He never came to see me while in spirit until 2009. I've seen him in dreams and he looks fabulous. He likes to live in spirit at the age of mid 40's.
