Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work, and driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

(((((Vanilla)))))

Can you not work less hours .... part time?
That is what I did when I reached 60.
I do between 16 and 25 hours a week, depending on what's needed.

Mia I am retired now, but life in general for me, is still a merry - go - round. We still have a mortgage to pay off, I have debts to clear, for me it is survival from one day to the next, one week to the next, one month to the next, till the next monies come in, only to see the monies gone, and its start the pattern all over again. I am not living, just surviving until this time next year, but I do have to stay focused, I can not stray for one second or I will never get off.

Could you do a part time job?

I really want to be debt free before I retire.
I suppose I am though.
When the bungalow was sold, my debts were all paid off.
My home is rented, but I want a smaller one, less to heat.
I still have to work a few hours a week to pay the bills.

You keep focusing, life will become easier, debts will get paid,
