Carl Jung termed "archetypes" as primordial symbols of the "collective unconscious". Animal totems are archetypes that work with the subconscious mind, tapping into the energy that is present in all things. Totems can be seen as channels or frequencies on a radio depending on the need of the individual. Our electromagnetic energy field taps into that frequency. However, the key to understanding this language is being perceptive and aware of our surroundings.

This is by no means a worship of the animals but rather using the animal totems as spiritual tools, or rather a spiritual symbiosis, along our personal path. Honor and respect for all of naturewas and is recognized. Wo/man is not above nature, Wo/man is one with nature. Totems and all of nature, demonstrate a spiritual connectedness that helps guide us on our own path of self discovery. [/i]

That is interesting. I am currently reading "Man and His Symbols" By Carl G. Jung. I choose this image randomly, without consciously planning.

Great explanation Spirit-Being Thumb

In this picture at first my thinking was getting in the way and i kept thinking on physical terms, but as i looked closely at this picture i began seeing more and more detail, at this point i still did not have an insight on this picture so i decided to close my eyes and see what comes to me. The woman spirit in the picture has awakened fully where the mans spirit has not, but there is some blue energy coming out of his head or going into his head. The rainbow of energy coming through the spirit of the woman is coming out her feet and i see the man eventually receiving this energy of all kinds. She will help to lift him up and this will be a process that will go on until they have both reached the higher levels.

she is pulling him up so that they may travel through the cosmos together

I notice a man looking forward as if he was staring in my direction. I am not sure why he is looking this way but he does look concerned as if people were watching him.

I also notice two small man and i believe they are one and the same, its kind of strange. In the same painting and at the same time he is getting healed and praising God for healing.

I think that is way to strange, this is painting not a photograph and I believe this is a 15th century painting. It looks like this man notice someone looking at him like they don’t belong there. If I was to paint this and use live people and this man looking at me as I paint the picture I would tell him to take his original pose which was probably looking in the same direction as the rest of the disciples. I think this painter had a vision and painted what he has seen and this can sound crazy but the painter was spotted by this man.

I agree totally luda, this is definitely interesting and i see this image in my mind hoping to gain more understanding. Many paintings do not affect me in this way but i feel the need to know what was going on and why?

How could i put myself in the painters shoes as if to understand what s/he was feeling & seeing?

Very Interesting painting thanks luda Thumb

I have not taken the time to learn how to add pictures on this forum just yet but I would like to mention the artwork Luda posted today as a birthday greeting to Spirit-Being as an addition for this thread.
It really caught my eye! Beautiful picture!
