Happy mind Empty Happy mind

happy mind

Everytime I ask the question to medical professionals or just anyone

What is a healthy body?
What is a healthy mind?

No one! and really no one! seems to know!
If a person stops to think before they answer, they are guessing!

In psychology they never say what is healthy they diagnose illness.

If you ask a psychologist. what is a healthy mind. they stop think and take a
guess.

When a person is asked a question and they have to think they are lying.
People when they know the truth just say it out.

So what is a healthy mind?

The answer is so easy and simple. Its a quiet mind.

You get up in the morning to go work. and you go work.
You go to the store and just go to the store.

A quiet mind is not a stupid person. Its a person who is not mental!
Mental is translated to mean, memory recital.

When you were a child and you went out to play, you just went out to play!

We hear the guru say still the mind, its easy to do just be quiet!
No mind. is it so hard a concept.

It is the biggest complaint that doctors get is. I cannot sleep
I cant shut off my mind!

But if we practice just hearing and seeing these two organs do not talk.
You have to be quiet to listen.

hope you find this helpfull.

Here I go...

A Healthy mind to me is clear and concise. No clutter,no worries. Clear thoughts.

A Healthy body is free of illness. Feels fit and energetic.
No bugs.....

Clear concise answers.......Now what I have forgotten? Duh

My grandmother used to say to me when I moaned as a child about having to eat this, that or take unpleasant tasting medicine.

A Healthy Mind is a Healthy body....something like that.

To me a healthy body is what we do put, or do not put into it. Nor abuse it with cigarette's, drugs, nor alcohol. As long as we look after our one and only body the best way we feel fit, can we rightfully call our body a healthy one. Of course we can feel fit and healthy, yet be totally oblivious as to body changes that maybe taking place inside..

Agree with aussiepom about the healthy mind ,no worries, no thoughts, just a mind filled with calmness and contentment.

After reading this I got a thought. When we answer surveys in Doctors offices, they ask. "Are you in Poor health, Good health or Excellent health. I always have to stop and think, who am I comparing myself with. If I am comparing myself with someone who has absolutely no health problems then I'm not in Excellent health. I usually say Good because if I compare myself to someone ridden with many illnesses then I'm not in the Poor category. Duh
So, how would you answer this question???

I do agree with the others when they say a healthy mind is a QUIET mind. I always feel at peace when my mind is quiet. I never thought I could feel that way but just through deep breathing you can quiet you mind so much and it is wonderful for your health!

I just answer I'm 'so,so'. He smiled and said 'For your age, you're not bad,if you were under 40 years,I would be giving you a check up'. I do have Angina or supposed to have it,still have heart sprays in the drawer, never used. Crosses fingers. Thumb
