In Honor of Martin Luther King Jr, here are a few quotes
Hi Friends, I copied some of my favorite quotes by Martin Luther King, Jr,
Hope they touch you too:
"Faith is taking the first step, even when you don't see the whole staircase."
"Hatred paralyzes life; love releases it. Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; love illuminates it.
"In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends."
"It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can stop him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important."
(This one made me sad)
"Now, I say to you today my friends, even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: - 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.'
Martin Luther King Jr., Speech at Civil Rights March on Washington, August 28, 1963
(I read that he said this the day before he was killed)

Wonderful Quotes Linda
What an Inspiration Martin Luther King JR --> IS
"Hatred paralyzes life; love releases it. Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; love illuminates it.
This one stood out to me, whenever i hear the word hate around me from family or friends i really cringe inside, i dislike the word and feel that this word is not apart of my vocabulary. It's not the only word i have thrown out there are many but this one is very Negative & i choose Love over Hate any day.
Many Blessings
