Our purpose in life Empty Our purpose in life

Post by Wind-Dancer December 12th 2008, 2:53 pm

There are all kinds of things we wish we didn’t have to do in life , but know in our hearts it is something we have to. Not just on a spiritual path; We’re all scared of the things we’ve been given to do in life, even if it’s just the day-to-day. Sometimes I’m worried I’m not smart enough, that I won’t have enough money, etc. Maybe you feel like that sometimes, too. But I know what ive been called to do, it’s what I feel is right. . We all have our our role to fulfill in life. Peace comes when we fulfill our purpose. At least, that’s what life has taught me. Tell us your views on this subject.

Our purpose in life Empty My Path!

Post by Spirit-Being December 12th 2008, 6:23 pm

I was not always on the right path, i have made many mistakes in my life. But each mistake i made brought me closer to a reality of understanding. I learned from my many mistakes how not to be. It's like trial and error, i tried things they were not healthy for me, could i have made a better decision absolutely.I would not change anything i have done in my life, for the simple fact i would not be at this point in my life had it not been for the mistakes ive made.

Through this i found a Spiritual Path that i was longing to find. It was through God that i found who i was. As i went along i studied many things Religious, Spiritual, Paranormal, Metaphysical, Supernatural... I became interested in many different things, as i started learning i began opening up more and more, realizing that we are all connected. Meditation and Prayer is key for me, this helps me connect with God and clear my mind from all the trash i accumulate throughout the day. Through these "tools" i become much more focused on my goal. -- I use the word tool for any inner work technique --

I would just like to add that I love everyone, this took having faith in people because some people are misled, and they do horrible things, do i like what they are doing "No" but i still love them, because i know deep down inside them there is goodness, it depends on if a person wants to act on that goodness.

Many Blessings

Our purpose in life Empty Re: Our purpose in life

LOVE 2009
well, through out my youth...LOL
I really struggled
believed that LOVE is the most important stuff needed
not money
well, i was incorrect and
had to correct myself and the
road was very rough to say the least
and it's been rather good these past few years and even
better in the last year that way
but I really don't know what the future will be
though I'm trying to prepare for the worst ...unemployment
just in case it happens sooner than later....

What I still want may not be what I'll get
I figure I am practical but not perfect...no, no not perfect....LOL

So much to learn and do daily that it's overwhelming
It's such a long story but the essence is "go forward" just looking back to learn from it....
Make new memories maybe better than what was...
be wiser and stronger for .....that which did not kill you..... so true....

LOVE still exists I'm just better at noticing it and appreciating it... so, Thank You.......

Our purpose in life Empty A poem by Margaret Jang,

Post by Wind-Dancer January 6th 2009, 6:01 pm

Your Purpose of Life
Beginning this year, you may take a huge stride,
to change your direction to another side.
Alas your intention may be slightly off track,
but you can adjust and then take a step back.
Through this confusion lessons learned well,
isn't lost time, so there's no need to dwell.
Sometimes in life as you make certain choices,
you must listen clearly to hear the right voices.
Although you admit, you are slightly confused,
with feeling off track and don't feel amused.
Your soul, no doubt, shows you new ways,
to recapture freedom joyfully each day.
For when you think back to awhile ago,
you already felt that you'd be starting this flow.
For in your chart you are to work with others,
but it may take time to believe or uncover.
And during this chaos your soul talks so free,
and tells you things you are unable to see.
For your inner purpose, awakened long ago,
says to live in the "now" and to go with the flow.
It may sound so simple and so easy to do,
but one thing you learn is to remain true to you.
Your soul reminds you the reasons why you're here,
to focus awareness, then release ego and fear.
It tells you your purpose in this cycle of life,
is to teach others to release grief and strife.
Or to light the pathway that they cannot see,
to show them how powerful they can truly be.
And how you will do this still keeps you at odds,
even though you know that your soul is your God.
But when it's time for this mystery to unfold,
you will either be shown or you will be told.
To reveal the puzzle of your spiritual path,
you must trust and believe in what has been cast.
Your outer purpose is connected to your soul,
so as long as you listen, you will complete your goal.
This poem was written by Margaret Jang, who has been channelling inspirational guidance/teachings from Spirit, in poetry format since 2002

My views on the subject of purpose: (since you asked) Smile
I think you said it all with the statement “it’s what I feel is right”.
What I feel is my purpose at any given moment. It may require me to act or to just “be”.
What I feel is my connection to source, my true nature and my purpose and I trust it immensely and intend to do no more than what the moment calls upon me to do.
My peace comes in knowing to trust that part of me, my heart.
Peace and Blessings, Praise

Great statement canadianmind....here's another twist on it for your contemplation....

My friend Emmanuel has said thus -

You where born and made taken care for.
You sought commodity for cheered state of being.
Life has had ups and surely down.
You know that it is the menace ones that ruin,
And it hurts your soul
but you are connected with pleasing good desire
And this erases allot of inner doubt.
Life is wonderful and everyone has enjoyed it.
People worry and are still trying to find
Their core in matters
But for you don't delay
Don't delay accepting supportive ways as the answer to life.

I am a father, although very wise you say I love you too.
This love is a strength and my strength is in love and I love you.
I am Emmanuel the Holy Ghost.
