Brace yourselves, as we are about to spring forward, fuelled by this waxing Moon in Libra that reaches climax on Good Friday. With Mercury finally going forward on Wednesday 4th and the intense reflection we have been under, we are in for a ride.

This is the first full Moon after the Spring Equinox, and the one that heralds the coming abundant summer months; the long balmy summer days and short nights. The Libran Moon is often known as the Awakening Moon, which is very apt this year. Over this Mercury Retrograde many of us have been forced to look at choices and decisions made in the past so that we don’t make the same mistakes again. As we see nature blooming around us, we too are about to experience the rapid growth of spring, without being impeded by the past.

The more work we have done on ourselves, the more we are living our truths and following our dreams and visions, the more magical these coming months will be. Doors will open and opportunities will present themselves with surprising ease. The key is to be open to everything without instantly judging it right or wrong.

This Libra Full Moon tells us:

“This is the Moon to recognise the perfect balance of life; the good and the bad, the love and the fear, the faith and the doubt, the peace and the war, the blessings and the burdens. When we broaden our perspectives to seeing the world as a delicate balance of the dark and the light we can begin to embrace everything that is happening to us, without craving for the good times and crumbling when things go bad.”

This Libran Moon is here to help us keep a balanced perspective, with our feet firmly rooted in reality, while our heads imagine the possibilities and visions. Not only is Mercury about to move forward, releasing a lot of pent up energy, but Mars is also slowing down its retrograde motion, and coming to a stop in opposition to Neptune, the planet of visions and illusions, by 15th April.

This alignment warns us that all that glitters is not gold. Be careful that the urge and craving to take your projects and visions to the next level can mislead you to make decisions that don’t actually serve you, leading to eventual disillusionment.

Instead, use the Libran full Moon to guide you cautiously through this period so that your feet are firmly on the ground and you don’t get too carried away by the magic. Enjoy the sociability of this Moon where we can experience mind-blowing synchronicities, cosmic connections and miraculous meetings.

You may also find yourself becoming more indecisive and unfocused over a Libran Full Moon, especially with the mundane decisions like what to wear, eat, or what option to take. Conversely, you may also find that you receive the clarity you need to make the big decisions and the path opens up easily and effortlessly.

With Pluto retrograding on 10th April we will be able to hear our subconscious thoughts more clearly and see the habits and behaviour patterns that have been holding us back emotionally. We will still be influenced by the Libran Moon, which could bring to the surface a tidal wave of emotion, as we face what we have been clinging to, in order to now release it.

The need for companionship and the feeling of connection in both love and work may get more intense over this Moon, especially if you are feeling a bit emotional and vulnerable. Create a more harmonious environment during this time by seeing the perspectives of others, whether you agree with them or not.

You may find people are needier and lean on you more over this Moon. Be sensitive and understanding to those that don’t have the support in their lives, especially if you are feeling the love and respect from family, friends and colleagues.

This is also the time to spring clean your house if you have not yet done so. Get rid of anything that is just clutter from the past so you create space for new things to come in. Open all the windows and smudge, using white sage, to clear any stagnant energy that may have accumulated during the winter months.

The clearer your intention is, the easier it will be to follow the flow over this Libran full Moon and ride the wave of indecisiveness and emotional insecurity. If things get a bit wobbly, reach out to a friend or loved one, a hug can help dissolve the confusion and make us feel we belong.

This Moon peaks on Good Friday, an auspicious day because of its purpose (Good Friday!). Keep your eyes and heart open to miracles and magical things happening on this day, illuminated by the full Moon.
