Reiki Attunement today :)

I had a lovely day today 
Last winter solstice, I attuned a friend to reiki 1 on Pakefield beach.
It was a fantastic day.
Today, I attuned her to reiki 2, in my copse.
This lady is at one with Mother Mary, so I placed my Mary figurine on the altar with some potted pansies and candles around her.
I hung candle lanterns on the trees and when my friend was seated, sprinled crystals around her.
I am still floating from the wonderful energy we raised
And it was 5 hours ago!

That sounds so nice, I wish I could get an attunement like that! You really must have made your friends day!
Is the reason for the crystal to draw the spirits out? I have never had any Reiki done outdoors but would love to!

Is the reason for the crystal to draw the spirits out?
No Taurus, just for their energies/properties, for decoration and as an offering to the spirits there xxx
